Rodeo Goat: A New American Experience in Frisco, TX

Good variety of burgers at competitive prices. While there are many burger places, few have the variety of options offered by Rodeo Goat. Combined with the casual environment (choose where you want to sit with selection of booths, tables, or bar stools), friendly service, plenty of free parking, this is a great place to hang out with friends or co-workers for lunch or casual dinner. Sweet potato fries and regular fries are good sides (lightly seasoned, slight crisp, soft inside).

We had lunch last Friday. We had been to the location in Plano. The atmosphere was great. However we were disappointed here as burgers uniformly were not up to the mark. The patties were dry and not juicy and succulent. The ambience was wonderful. On the whole we weren’t too upset about anything. Except that the food just missed the mark.

All the burgers and loaded fries were amazing. We came in during the Wicked battle of the burgers. The Elphaba was delicious. Also, not pictured, the “Goat Chips” were soooo good. We had mimosas as well, since it was weekend. Service was fast and friendly, plenty of tables and parking. Great experience!

Burgers, check. Beers, check. Cocktails, check. Scrumptious dessert, check. Rodeo Goat was recommended to us by our realtor Amy over at the Kocher Team. We had the Truffle Shuffle and Royale with Cheese. Both burgers were grilled to perfection. The patties were juicy and tender, with just the right amount of fat. Other craft burger joints serve patties with grease dripping down your arm, or require a roll of paper towel to eat. Not at Rodeo Goat! And each burger is sandwiched between a fluffy home baked brioche bun, leaving each bite with a serving of everything on the burger! The Cow Patty dessert is decadent for those that have an insatiable sweet tooth! Our son devoured it within minutes. We'll be back to try the other burgers.

I had the best time here! Our food was excellent. I always enjoy the nanny goat burger, and this time was no exception. Sweet potato fries were great. It was my first time trying the steaming pile and goat balls, both outstanding!! Look forward to enjoying these again. Cocktails were great too! Our service is what really made the experience stand out. Our server, Alicia H, was perfect. Some of the most flawless service I have ever received. She was attentive without ever being overbearing. She made great recommendations and was so welcoming. The manager Ryan also stopped by to check on us and was lovely to chat with!

Rodeo Goat never disappoints. I tried the classic cheeseburger bowl and loved it. All the flavor without the bun and still super filling. My boyfriend went all in with the Ranch House burger (double patties!) and cheese fries and inhaled it. The real star though? The $6 happy hour rattlesnakes. Frozen margarita + sangria = elite combo. So good. 10/10 casual date night spot in Frisco.

I had a great experience at Rodeo Goat. It’s definitely the best location I’ve visited in the DFW area. The food has so much more flavor compared to other places, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared and soo soo delicious The atmosphere is excellent, fun, relaxed, and perfect for enjoying a great burgers. The service was outstanding. Kattie took care of us and she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit even better Overall, we felt really happy, and from now on this will be my favorite spot. Highly recommended!

A fascinating place. The food is excellent, as is the service. The place is clean and smoke-free; you won't leave smelling like food on your clothes. The drinks are refillable, but you'll only need one refill because the burgers are so big you'll want to skip the soda. The burgers are excellent, tasting better than any I've tried before. The brioche buns are delicious, and of course, the meat is delicious too. A place any visitor to this city should visit.
